AppTek = “Applied Technology” in Subcontracting

AppTek began its operations in 2001, and has quickly become one of the fastest growing and most successful construction subcontractors in Southern California. The reason for this success is primarily a result of a deep commitment to customer satisfaction by every AppTek employee.

In 2005, Apptek launched Apptek Commercial, a division devoted exclusively to Commercial projects. In March of 2006, Apptek Coachella was launched. This division focuses on the Palm Spring, Palm Desert, La Quinta, and Riverside areas.

In April 2007 AppTek added Steel Stud Framing and Drywall to its capabilities. The focus of this new division is to provide our commercial customers with the ability to package bids that can include stucco, framing, drywall, veneer stone, and interior plastering, including Venetian plaster.

The company is committed to the utilization of the latest technology in both field and internal operations. This includes state-of-the-art systems resulting in efficiencies that allows for competitive pricing while delivering consistent quality. We also are constantly on the lookout for and working with innovative new products in the marketplace - thus “Applied Technology”.

AppTek currently has over 150 employees, each committed to “do what we say we are going to do”. We have a low turnover of personnel because a pervasive team spirit and “win-win” attitude that extends throughout the company.

Officers

Vance Campbell, President/CEO
Vance Campbell has been building and investing in real estate for his entire business career. He has owned and operated several businesses over the past 35 years, and is currently active as the managing principal with 101 Coastal Investors LLC including the operation of several Southern California real estate investment partnerships. With his extensive experience in real estate development, manufacturing and business management, Mr. Campbell brings his years of business experience and disciplines to Apptek Industries.

Peter Fusco, Vice President Field Operations
Peter has been in the plastering business in excess of 30 years. Born in Italy and immigrated to the United States as a teenager, his first and only career became that of a plasterer. Peter worked his way up the ranks from apprentice to supervisory positions in Boston, MS. In 1984 Peter moved to San Diego where he worked in supervisory and management positions in plastering for companies including large commercial firms. Prior to his career at Apptek, he was in charge of customer service for a significant San Diego stucco company. In September of 2002 he became Director of Field Operations for Apptek and now has approximately 120 employees reporting to him.

Scott Lidster, Chief Administrative Officer
Scott has been with the company since 2003. With a background in Business Administration from the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA), Scott is responsible for all administrative affairs of the company including financial, marketing, employment, and internal matters. Scott has successfully built an administrative entity that is highly disciplined and effective throughout, adding to our commitment to outstanding service to our customers. Scott recently completed coursework for his MBA from Cal State University, San Marcos.

Adam Campbell, Vice President Operations Systems
Adam has broad responsibilities for the establishment and management of Operational Systems of all Apptek Industries divisions. He was founder and VP responsible for the start up of the Coachella Division. Prior to joining Apptek, Adam was involved in the Investment Banking industry and served as Vice President in the Asset Management Group of Stone and Youngberg. Prior to joining Stone and Youngberg, Adam served as Vice President at Piper Jaffray in the Consulting Services Group. Adam held similar positions at Robertson Stevens and JP Morgan. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Arizona, and obtained the designation of CFA in his earlier endeavors.

Mike Brennan, Vice President – Business Development & Technical Affairs
Mike is responsible for Business Development, Technical Affairs, and Internal and External Consulting. His mission will include the continuous improvement of quality, capabilities, employee knowledge and skills. He has been in construction-related businesses for over 30 years. Mike has extensive experience with lath and plaster systems, is an expert in waterproofing systems and has extensive knowledge of EFIS systems in both practice and theory. Prior to joining Apptek, Mike spent 24 years working at Expo Builders Supply and Expo Specialty Systems primarily as a technical and design consultant for lath and plaster construction.

Juan Lopez, VP Operations – Apptek Coachella Inc.
Juan has been involved in the stucco business for almost 10 years, most recently in the role of superintendent of a large riverside stucco company. Juan now heads up operations in the Coachella Valley which includes Palm Springs, La Quinta, Palm Desert, Riverside, etc. Juan has vast experience with lath, plaster, foam, and stucco. Juan served in the United States Navy from 1986-1996.
